Three 18 hole courses. Good quality but all three different and very testing. The North course (renamed Campo America) was opened in 1992, the South Course (renamed Campo Asia) was opened in 1991, and the newest course Campo Europa was opened in 2005. All three courses were designed by American Cabell B. Robinson. Campo Asia (par 72, 5966 metres) features target style golf in a spectacular setting.
This is challenging to all levels of golfer, rewarding accuracy rather than power. Campo America (par 73, 6187 metres) is a championship layout, and pros find it a real challenge from the white tees, but its wide fairways and different tee positions make it pleasant for all levels of golfer. Campo Europa is a par 71 course measuring 6,014 metres. As Cabell B. Robinson put it ¨The new course (Campo Europa) is not only dramatic but will also be easier for the average golfer. The fairways are generous from the tees and the greens are slightly larger than on the resort´s other courses.¨
There is a range near the clubhouse for warm-ups, as well as practice green, bunker and pitching areas.
Incredible views on every hole. Tight fairways and you will require one leg shorter then the other for the slopes and an oxygen tent standing by at the tenth if you decide to walk it! Buggies a must. A good test for golfers of all abilities Something for everyone! A little bit of golfing Paradise .
This is one of my favourites a wonderful place to own a property, superb views and a 5 star lifestyle awaits.
At 12% density it is one of the lowest on the coast, great value apartments, fantastic townhouses and villa plots available. One developer controls the whole 4 million m2 of land. A very rural feel, away from the crowds, but only 8 minutes from the beach. Membership to the three 18 hole courses comes free with each new property purchase. A five star hotel, spa, gym, and equestrian centre add to the La Cala experience.
