Santana
An excellent course. Usually in superb condition and very enjoyable to play.
Santana is an 18 hole, par 72 course of 6,203 metres. Built in an old avocado farm it has preserved many of the original trees and natural features of the land. The course was designed by Cabell B. Robinson and was opened in 2004. It is relatively flat with wide fairways and good greens. Because you are shielded by the trees you get the impression of playing in a very natural environment yet you are only a short distance from Fuengirola and the beach.

To be very honest, I have yet to play this one! However from the reports from many colleges and friends it is one not to be missed. It is a demanding and entertaining layout where each hole has been designed to provide a continuous challenge to the players. It is set in a valley and surrounded by a variety of indigenous plants and fruit trees. In time I am sure it will become a favourite of many and will be ranked very highly indeed.
It sounds good! I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to play it and of course report back once I have had the privilege. No real construction yet on site however it is planned and is awaiting licence. Individual plots and apartments to come, and I am assured that they will offer favourable membership terms for their residents.
